Hi, I'm studying game and interactive audio at university and was wondering if I could use your game to apply my own audio for an assignment. I would love to get in touch :)
So I've downloaded and run the game, but it doesn't seem to recognize my controller (a Logitech F310), meaning that I cannot start the game, go through the menu or even quit without going into Task Manager. I'm really hoping that this can be fixed.
UPDATE: After restarting my machine and running it again, the game recognizes my controller, and I am able to play the thing. It runs pretty smooth, though the controls took a bit of getting used to (there is no lock-on button, for starters, and the right and left bumpers instead do special abilities, with both right and left triggers being dedicated to dashing), and the UI seems to have been designed for a wider screen than mine. Some simple anchoring of the parts of the UI (which can be done quite easily in the Widget Editor) would solve the UI issue quite nicely.
I'm having the same problem, my guess is we have to mount the file with a program like DEAMON tools but after mounting it I'm not sure what to open it with :/
There's no need to mount anything. - Download the .rar on the website (there is some issues on the application) - Unzip the file by using 7zip or Winrar - Double click on ToxicPink.exe located in WindowsNoEditor folder - Enjoy
Can you give us the steps to reproduce your issue? It might help us solve it.

Indeed. We're really sorry but the game is designed to be played with a controller. You might have some buttons that works with mouse and keyboard, but they're just remnants of the development. We never planned to do a proper implementation to support MNK...
Even so, we really hope that you find a way to play and enjoy the game!
Holy Crap! It is amazing! Just done playing it don't why I took two hours Just kept repeating the levels till I was satisfied you guys need to make this into a game proper just make sure that if you do make a story to go through guidelines on writing to stop yourself from making a Mary Sue seen way too many female characters with potential get ruined by drowning them in feminist propaganda darn shame too. Also add in a manual lock on like dark souls or Kingdom Hearts 2 so you can focus more on combo's instead of camera positioning.
practically when i'm in the menu screen ... it's ok to start game is broken and the game doesn't start ... even configured joypad .. but it doesn't work even from the keyboard and strange this thing

This is super impressive for an undergraduate project. I taught software development for 5 years and saw nothing rivalling this kind of quality - however all the students I taught only worked on single person final year projects. What institute did you graduate from? I'm passing this on to my old colleagues to see if they can motivate their students to work harder!

I had a little bit of chugging when there was a lot going on screen, but there had to be A LOT going on like : two bombs blowing up, three pigs shooting, and a chainball guy doing his big swing. Aside from that everything went smoothly
Hey nicolasstag ! Have you tried running the app on admin ? Or downloading manually the game on the website ? *Edit* It seems that it won't work in admin because the file is a bit heavy. If you really want to play the game you should download from the website :) Sorry for the inconvenience !
Oh ok well I definitely have that download, I'm going to finish the editing. just one other question is it ok to use the art on Artstation from the various people that helped make this game?

I have a Nvidia GeForce 1050, with an 8th Generation Intel Core i5 and 32 GB of RAM
It's odd because I'm able to play a graphics intensive game like Black Desert smoothly, but, it's not necessarily lag per say---
right when you're dropped in from the start after starting the application, it's constant.
One theory I have(but I am unsure of because I haven't fully messed around with the combat) is that there is a mechanic within the combat, say like a finisher that would temporarily trigger slow motion for a few seconds, yet it's being triggered constantly.
TL:DR, everything is moving is slow motion constantly haha, but it's definitely not lag
Yes, I can see the video :) We are supposed to work on it very soon ! The fact is that I don't have any problems on my pc :( But we will try to find a solution and come back to you !

Hello, could you define good pc? I'm sure i don't have it, but i would like to know the estimated specs needed to play this cool looking game.
The game ran fine on my old PC with a GTX 960 and i7-4770, so you shouldn't have too many problems if it's reasonably mid to high end.

Dope title screen music, couldn't get it to recognize any controllers. So that is as far as I made it.

You should make keyboard support aswell, because I don't have a controller

maybe make it playable for not only super good pcs and its a computer game let us play it with keyboard,mouse or controller not only controller pls!

Sooo I made this before the new update, but I think it still came out really nice it'll be available to watch at 1pm EST today
just finished going through the updated demo
-LOVE the main menu, gym, and options menu addition
-gym is great for testing moves
-game didn't chug as much because I could tone down the "extra" stuff, which made the final room MUCH more fun to play.
-I still went invisible when entering the final room
Overall i'm excited for future updates :D

im running windows on an hdd, basic stuff, got the AMD equivalent of the 1060.

I have a pretty decent rig and for some reason the game moves in slow motion?
Like it's not lagging or jittery but the movement and everything else is slowed down? I can record an example if you need a visual reference
